監督からのメッセージ 「オーガズミックバース」日本上映に向けて

「オーガズミックバース」監督のデボラから、日本上映に向けてのメッセージです。

彼女は、チャイルドバース・エデュケーター、ドゥーラ（出産・産後サポーター）であり、出産をより喜びに満ちたものにと、世界中で講演、ワークショップ開催をされています。

以下、メッセージです。

「自然科学は、喜びと愛のある出産をサポートします。これは、私たちの世界が今、検討を必要としているテーマです。これ以上、医療技術の多用、母子へのケア(care)を配慮するよりも恐怖(scare）を与えている状況が増え、痛みと恐怖というメッセージが広がることに耐えることはありません。

私たちは、母子とその家族にある愛と喜びに焦点をあて、それが出産を安全で優しいものとし、絆を深め、生涯に残るポジティブな体験となるよう努めています。

『オーガズミックバース』は、７組のカップルの親密な出産の様子を映し出しています。彼女たちがシェアしてくれた、ポジティブで気持ち良く、時にチャレンジであり、喜びに溢れるオーガズム出産の様子です。

以前は、世界でも最良と言われる出産を保っていた日本ですが、現在、医療介入の多用、不安感を煽る出産事情へと変わってきています。この映画の日本上映は、そのような状況について考える良い機会となるでしょう。
